Hayley Orrantia is an American actress, singer and music producer. The majority of people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. However, she considers herself primarily as a musician. Music is her first love she claims; it's something she has dabbled at when she was nine years old. As she grew to the age of 12 the music she was playing took more serious form and she began to train professionally. After some experimentation with writing songs, she recorded the album with songs at age fourteen. Since then, she has never been back. Orrantia is a native of America with Hispanic origins. She's proud of her reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots, even though she was raised speaking English only, and did not live in Mexico. To keep it, she has learned Spanish and created songs using the language. One such song is 'Hasta Verte,' which she composed in Spanish. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was chosen from an YouTube video submission and received four "yes" vote from judge during the live audition phase held in Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was performing as a solo artist, however following "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were put in a group to continue the auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week of the live program.
