Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik, Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the first female who is a winner at CrossFit Games in two consecutive seasons. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media-star. Her fame has been built on being the sole woman to ever win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie, her parents, and her siblings were born and grew up within Reykjavik Iceland. As a child she was an avid fan of sports and exercise. She was a participant in numerous school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir participated in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years of age (as as of 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California 2009. The first time she competed, she was very successful and placed in first 10 of the 70 competitors. However she was unable to take home any titles and ended her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen helped her achieve an overall second place in the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. It was her second year of competition that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she was the first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 brought her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she won consecutively. The silver medal was awarded in 2014. In 2021, she won a Bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has seen her become the spokesperson for many brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb.
