Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler June 28, 1986. She had a turbulent childhood. She was just two when the mother of her child left her to get away from an unfaithful union. Pickler was brought back to her mother when she assumed custody. This did not go well. So when she was 12 the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents who took care of her until she reached adulthood. Pickler had too many things to do with motherhood in the absence of both her parents. Pickler said she was not able to devote time to studies, she started to learn how to cook and clean at an early stage. Pickler played cheerleading in her high and middle schools. North Stanly High School, where she was a graduate in 2004 is her school of choice. Pickler was also a contestant in a beauty pageant. She was once the title of Miss Stanly county.
