Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she performed in numerous Broadway shows before becoming an international star with Li'l Abner in 1957. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise was awarded her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. At the time, she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious in order to dispel her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she has also made her name as a director who has been successful in various well-known television shows like Supernatural and The 100. Born on the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
