David-Muir
David Muir is an American anchor and journalist best known for his ABC newscast World News Tonight with David Muir as well as for the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he is an anchor and co-anchor. His program with its dramatic videos, celebrity news and animated movements has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America, his Emmy nominated program, is one of his other credits. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary alternative to his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He has reported numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He's traveled the world, covering news in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He was the winner of numerous Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards and honors from the Associated Press.
